Godrej Gracia Insecticide (Fluxametamide 10% EC)
The Ultimate "Proactive" Solution for Chewing and Sucking Pests in Horticulture.
Godrej Gracia represents the next generation of pest control technology. Developed in collaboration with Nissan Chemical Corporation, it introduces the novel Isoxazoline chemistry to Indian farmers. Unlike older pesticides that pests have become resistant to, Gracia targets a unique site in the insect's nervous system.
It is specifically designed to control the toughest pests, including Black Thrips and Fruit Borers, in crops like Chilli, Brinjal, and Cabbage. With its ability to stop pests from feeding almost immediately, Gracia ensures your crop quality remains premium and export-ready.
Why Choose This Product? Key Benefits
- ⏱️Immediate "Stop-Feeding" Action: Pests stop damaging your crop within hours of contact, preserving the cosmetic value of your harvest.
- ?️Broad-Spectrum Control: A single solution that kills both caterpillars (Lepidoptera) and thrips (Thysanoptera), eliminating the need for tank mixes.
- ⏳Long Duration Protection: Provides extended control for up to 14 days, reducing labor costs and the number of sprays required.
- ?️Excellent Rainfastness: The product sticks to the leaf and becomes rain-proof within 2 to 4 hours, making it ideal for the Kharif season.
- ?Translaminar Action: It penetrates leaf tissues to reach and kill pests hiding on the underside of leaves, where contact sprays fail.

How It Works: Mode of Action
Gracia works by attacking the insect's nervous system in a completely new way. It enters the pest through contact or ingestion and targets the GABA-gated chloride channels.
- Locking the System: It acts as an antagonist, effectively "locking" the chloride channels closed.
- Over-Excitation: This blockage causes the pest's nervous system to become hyper-excited and uncontrollable.
- Paralysis & Death: The pest immediately suffers convulsions, stops feeding (saving your crop), and dies shortly after due to paralysis.
Because it binds to a unique site, it remains effective even against pests that have developed resistance to other chemicals like Fipronil or Diamides.

Dosage & Application Guide
The Golden Rule: Always follow the "Dose per Acre" for accurate results. Do not under-dose or over-dose.
Dosage per Acre, Litre, & Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI)
| Crop | Dose (ml / Acre) | Water (L / Acre) | Dose (ml / Litre) | PHI (Days) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brinjal | 160 ml | 200 L | 0.8 ml | 5 |
| Chilli / Tomato | 160 ml | 200 L | 0.8 ml | 5 |
| Cabbage / Okra | 160 ml | 200 L | 0.8 ml | 5 |
| Redgram | 160 ml | 200 L | 0.8 ml | NA |
*PHI = Pre-Harvest Interval: The minimum number of days to wait between the last spray and harvesting.
How to Apply: Best Practices
- Timing: Apply "Proactively" at the first sign of pests (ETL level) or during flower initiation for best results. Do not wait for severe damage.
- Mixing: Mix the required dose (160ml) in a small quantity of water first, then add to the main tank. Avoid mixing with highly alkaline products like Bordeaux mixture.
- Coverage: Use a Hollow Cone nozzle for fine mist. Ensure coverage on both sides of the leaves, as Gracia moves translaminarly.
- Safety: Always wear PPE (gloves, mask, goggles). Wash hands thoroughly after use.
